Group continues roll out of potential sites for Olympics

Boston Olympic group taps 3 universities for events

BOSTON —The organizers of Boston's Olympic bid said Wednesday that Harvard University, Boston College and Northeastern University would serve as venues for several events if Boston is chosen to host the 2024 Summer Games.

The announcement came as Boston 2024 continued its steady roll-out of potential Olympic sites around Massachusetts, leading up to the public release of what the nonprofit group has promised will be a new and improved master plan for the games.

The Olympic archery competition would take place at Harvard Stadium, the nation's oldest stadium dating to 1903 and considered the world's first large reinforced concrete structure, Boston 2024 announced.

Boston College was chosen to host wrestling and judo at Conte Forum and Northeastern was tapped for weightlifting at the school's Matthews Arena.

at all.

I think it is a HORRIBLE venue, and I love Boston. Fucked up traffic, the T is below par, where do they plan on putting people...? They can't even use the real Marathon course because it's too steep in some places.

The Olympics should go ... SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
