Scituate beach reopened after reported shark sighting

SCITUATE, Mass. —A Scituate beach has been reopened after a reported shark sighting closed the beach on Saturday morning.
The Scituate Harbormaster was notified of reported shark sightings off of Humarock Beach.
The beach was closed to the public while the Scituate Harbormaster and police investigated the possible sighting.
Maggie Byrne, of Millis, said it was comforting to watch officials comb the waters off the beach following the reported sightings.
