Following a Wednesday afternoon conference call with representatives of about two-dozen communities, including some from Greater Fall River, Good Energy officials said they expect the electricity aggregation request for proposals to go out to bid within 24 hours.

“The bids will be done, and we expect to have concrete numbers on Nov. 10,” the date bids would be opened, said Ross Perry, Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District municipal management director.

He and Philip Carr, head of consultant Good Energy’s New England region, said “three wholesale suppliers” were identified and vetted to compete for a contract against energy supply costs by National Grid and Eversource Energy for this area.

“We think the market is in a really good place now. It’s an excellent opportunity,” Carr said.
