This is going to be an election year issue in Michigan. There's no sugarcoating it.

(Detroit Free Press) A crowd of Arab Americans protested Wednesday night inside a Dearborn high school against President Joe Biden's scheduled Thursday visit to Michigan, urging people not to vote for him because of his support for Israel's attacks in Gaza.

"We are not interested in conversations with this campaign and this administration," said Dearborn attorney Amer Zahr, a Palestinian American activist who helped organize the rally at Fordson High. "They have to call for a ceasefire. He could make a phone call tomorrow and put an end to all this. He has chosen not to. ... President Biden, we say quite clearly: you are not welcome in our community."

Zahr told the crowd to remember Biden's actions during elections: "Are we going to forget?" he asked them. "No!" they roared back in response. Zahr's comments were applauded by the crowd, many of whom were holding up signs that read "Abandon Biden" and "Ceasefire Now."

Biden is to hold an event with the UAW union in Michigan on Thursday. Last week, his campaign manager visited Dearborn and spoke at the offices of The Arab American News with its publisher, Osama Siblani, but some Arab American and elected officials such as Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud refused to meet with her. ............(more)

saying he wants stop immigration from Muslim countries.
I don’t they will vote for him either if they look at what he has said about them. Could make it draw and not help the unholy orange pig.

It seems there are two separate factions with each claiming state authenticity.

So now Netenyahu answers to Joe Biden? He seems too stubborn to do that.
The president has already issued some strongly worded pleas to end the hostilities and was met with more than a little resistance.
These protesters should be reminded that the other guy would ban their ilk and create a hostile environment right here.

another case of people pontificating without knowing all of the facts, some of which may be sugar coated, and some of which will never be revealed to the public. Regardless, she simply doesn’t have the inside track - only the passion of her contempt, or concern as it may be. This kind of conflict is to be expected. The best the Biden Administration can do is remain as transparent (I hate that term) as possible and let the American public have as much information as possible. If the solution were easy, the conflict would already have been settled.

6. We have to remember that SOME Arab Americans are also very close to Mohammed bin

Salman, who is also tight with trump's son in law. And SOME Arab Americans are very close to the oil producing countries and their politics, which are against Biden and any other person concerned about climate.

I TOTALLY don't like what is going on in the mideast between Israel and the Palestinians, but I've been against Netanyahu since I found out what a creep he was back in the 1990's, and there is absolutely nothing good to be said about Hamas. It's the leadership of Israel and Gaza that are on a path to fucking up the whole world right now, and the US is pretty much caught in a well-laid trap.

But a vote against Biden, or any democrat in this environment, is a really stupid idea.
