The MAGA Anti-Kamala Harris Ads Here
Watching television here in the Detroit area on the local tv stations, we're seeing a lot of ads going after Kamala Harris on the issue of immigration and the border. Of course they're designed to portray her in the worst light. They are very numerous when the local NBC affiliate (channel 4 here) is broadcasting their morning recap of the Olympics.
I'm happy that they're focusing on that. That kind of messaging will resonate with the Fox News addicts, but if they have to advertise to their base, they have real trouble because their base should already be a lock. If they were focusing on economic issues that would resonate more with independents and democrats who were wavering, I'd be more worried about it.
As far as I'm concerned, I hope they keep spending all their ad dollars that way.

The Sinclair station around here (Albany, NY) is the CBS affiliate. I notice that the late news team no longer asks viewers to stay tuned for Stephen Colbert.
