Youngest Congressman to rally youth vote for Harris campaign in Flint, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids

FLINT, MI — With a push to engage young voters, Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign this week will receive support in Michigan from a Floridian known as the youngest member of Congress.

U.S. Rep. Maxwell Frost, of Florida, will engage with prospective voters in Flint, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, during gatherings scheduled from Thursday to Friday, Aug. 29-30, Harris campaign officials said.

The 27-year-old Orlando native began his term in the U.S. House of Representatives last year, when he started receiving attention outside of his state in part because of his label as “the first member of Gen Z elected to Congress.”

Frost, who received a prime-time slot when he addressed the Democratic National Convention on its final day last week in Chicago, will kick off his Michigan visit in Flint, Harris campaign officials said.
