Harris plans three days of campaigning in Michigan this week

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is planning to campaign in Michigan over three days this week as the presidential race against Republican former President Donald Trump intensifies in the battleground state.

The vice president will hold campaign events in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Oakland County on Friday, Harris campaign spokeswoman Alyssa Bradley said Sunday.

On Saturday, Harris will campaign in Detroit during the first day of early, in-person voting in the city, Bradley said.

Harris also is planning a trip to Detroit on Tuesday to participate in a radio town hall event with host Charlamagne Tha God. The program will air at 5 p.m. Tuesday across an estimated 139 radio stations in markets across the country.
