Henry Ford Museum opens exhibit featuring Red Wings, hockey history




(Detroit Free Press) Red Wings fans may want to take a detour to Dearborn.

The Henry Ford is featuring the traveling exhibit "Hockey: Faster Than Ever," which explores the history, culture and how science and math converge in the sport. It features a host of Red Wings memorabilia, as well as interactive games, and runs through Jan. 5.

“It's truly a lovely exhibit, it's really hands-on," said Lori Petrelius, Henry Ford Museum programs manager. "... it brings in a lot of science concepts — science and math, actually.”

The exhibit features Detroit Red Wings artifacts, jerseys, apparel from superstar players, including jerseys worn by the Russian Five and boards from Joe Louis Arena, which was demolished in 2020. ......................(more)

The display for how a model "T" was made was pretty neat also. Greenfield Village was pretty slick.
all in all for a Nazi loving anti semitic prick old Henry knew how to build cars...
