VP Kamala Harris to rally voters in Ann Arbor with musician Maggie Rogers
Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris will continue to focus on Michigan next week with another visit to the battleground state planned for Monday, according to her campaign.
Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will participate in a rally in Ann Arbor Monday. The event will feature a performance by singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers. The vice president is also expected to make two additional campaign stops in Michigan on Monday, according to a source briefed on her travel plans.
The Monday stops will mark her seventh, eighth and ninth events over an 11-day period in Michigan, where her race against Republican former President Donald Trump is believed to be barreling toward a photo finish.
Harris rallied voters in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Waterford Township on Oct. 18. Then, on Saturday, Oct. 19, she participated in a get-out-the-vote event in Detroit with rapper Lizzo, and on Monday, she appeared in Royal Oak with Republican former U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney.
