He's in Lincoln Park and he loves posting pictures of his meals. Apparently Breitbart picked up on it.

I live in Michigan. Trust me, there are a lot of really stupid people in this state. Lot of
right wing trump supporters in the rural areas and small towns. Thanks to gerrymandering, small towns and rural areas have the same amount of representation as places like Grand
Rapids and Ann Arbor. Sometimes it's embarrassing to admit I live here.

I'm in a rural hotspot. The idiots are doing everything to spread Corona. When Gretchen issued first order they immediately called an emergency Constitutional rally to show no woman Democrat Governor was gonna tell them what to do. The mayor declared the city council meeting would go on as scheduled. One off the leaders demanded the Medical care facility turn over the medical records of those who died. They are actively soliciting signatures for this petition. It is my understanding a protest march is being organized. By the way Representative Mike Shirkey is still a piece of shit.

She was going to fix the roads and schools. What has she done in 1.5 years?

I see the petition on there.
Argued with a few Trump humpers and then wrote... see below

I think she's doing her job. If we had a republican governor we would have way more infected people and deaths from stalling the shut down.

These are the questions posed to me from another member.

If she's "...doing her job..." please explain the rationale behind Whitmer's April 9th. "...extended stay at home order..." that allows someone from Chicago and owns a vacation home on Torch Lake can travel there with family but dis-allows a Flint auto worker who has a modest cabin on 1/2 acre near Indian River from traveling there ? "Critic's flame Whitmer's latest restrictions" FREEP 4/11/20

If she's "...doing her job..." please explain the rationale behind Whitmer's April 9th. "...extended stay at home order..." that closed down garden centers but allows video game stores to remain open and do a land-mine business ? "What's essential ? A video game store..." FREEP 4/11/2020

Please tell me why if Whitmer is "...doing her job..." someone from Chicago can stop in Michigan on their way to their vacation home in Charlevoix and buy a video game but again a Flint auto worker can't stop at Home Depot in Gaylord and buy some polyurethane to do some sprucing up of his modest "get-away" cabin near Indian River ?

Whitmer, who has criticized Trump for not setting out national guidelines and restrictions so as to deal with the CVOVID-19 crisis then turns around and dismisses national federal guidelines:

"Whitmer's new stay-at-home order...bars landscapers..."

"...the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on March 28th....issued new guidance adding more workers...including landscapers..." "Critics: Stay-Home Rules Frustrating" . Detroit News 4/11/2020

Given the above please explain to me the rationale for your statement, "...she's doing her job..." . Thanks in advance - but to be honest I'm not holding my breath. .

I'm not from here originally but have lived here for over 25 years now. I can now state with some authority that yes, we do have some really ignorant redneck people in this state. I moved here from the South and I thought that at the very least I would be able to escape that type of person, but I was sadly mistaken.

I still think the majority of Michiganders are not wing nuts, but they certainly are louder and more obnoxious than the more educated people. I was happy that the 2018 elections were a backlash against them and I'm hoping it's even bigger in November.
