Neither Peters or James mention tRump. Time for Peters to saddle James with his relationship with tRump and his policies. Both, in their tv ads fail to mention him.

(27,299 posts)In fact, I've only seen two - one where he's sitting on what appears to be a plane, and one with a really dark background and he's just kind of blithering about something. I haven't seen either ad in a long time.
I love Gary Peter's ads. They run all the time. Maybe as it grows closer, his ads will evolve.
Admittedly I secretly hope that some James campaigners stop by my house. The odds are pretty bleak that will happen, though. The sign on my door does state: door to door sales people, religious proselytizers and republicans needn't bother knocking but Democrats are always welcome. Well, that and the fact that I live in a 100% Democratically represented area. That's township, county, state and national representation. Not a gop'er in the bunch.

(34,100 posts)he denied he would ever take away protections for pre-conditions, a lie. Lately he is talking about bringing everyone together and stopping all of the hate from the other side. Here in Mid-Michigan I'm now seeing 3 to 2 ads for Peters. Must be because of that donation I sent him.

(27,299 posts)I'd love to see him lose to Peters by twice the margin he lost to Stabenow. Losing twice in 2 years to Democrats might be just the 'face reality' moment he needs and he can move on with his life and stick to doing what ever it is he does, now, to make a living.
