Related: About this forumGrand Rapids artists, late 1970s
Any chance trying to find the name of a local painter from the late 70s? Would there be a list, a gallery, a school? Whom would you ask, contact. Thinking it's a pointless impossible task, but maybe that's just me. Thanks in advance for any ideas/help you can suggest.

There was an African American artist named Paul Collins. He was around in the 1970's and
early 80's.
You could try contacting the Grand Rapids Public Library, the Local History department.

I should have stated the artist I'm looking for is a female, about 45-50 years old, but I'm focused more on search ideas. THanks!
