But when Trump took office, he directed the FBI to stop investigating white supremacists and Right wing terrorist groups and instead focus on immigrants and then BLM. People still kept some of the efforts in place, but it was really a reduced effort to combat this stuff. Biden of course reversed that and we're seeing increased law enforcement, but it's pretty out of control right now. There are legit a hundred thousand plus dangerous Rightwing terrorists in the US right now. And that's not including the millions of Republicans who would join them in killing their neighbors if a real civil conflict ever gained steam.

And Trump wants to pardon every single January 6th terrorist if he got back in office. This is a legit threat to the continuation of our system of government and our way of life.

There is not a dime's worth of difference between Trump and his Jan. 6th mob and
Benito Mussolini's black shirts (fascisti) who marched on Rome and took over the
Capitol in the 1920s.

Trump is never going to get back into the White House for many reasons one of
which is the 14th Amendment.

I think we've become desensitized to just how violent they are. Even January 6th has gone through a washing machine to normalize that behavior. You have sitting members of Congress acting like the terrorists from January 6th are political prisoners. It's just a scary. And the Pelosi attack is barely even a blip now, that story should be bigger. A Trump inspired maniac attacked the family member of the Speaker of the House with a hammer. There should be calls for the GOP to apologize, where are they?

We've reached a point, where the Republicans are such a fringe party, that the only hope they have of competing in elections is to foment insurrection and court extremists who would destroy our country.

In Ohio the Congressional Races are over because of gerrymandering and that is the case in many
other states too. Also Ron DeSantis redid 4 districts in Florida so they would go red and on DU I
have read that around Nashville, TN there was 1 or 2 districts that would always vote blue but the
republican run state legislature redid the districts into 4 new ones that would always vote red.

And all across America we have illegally gerrymandered districts that courts have ruled are "dirty" and
must be changed but the Christo-Fascist Supreme Court that was installed by the super rich and right
wing "think tanks" such as the Judicial Crisis Network ordered that nothing should be done about cleaning
up the districts because it was too close to the election.
