Stay safe, Michiganders!

It looks like we're in for a helluva ride tomorrow. My area is under an Ice Storm Warning which is making me nervous. I'd much rather have the 6-10" of snow than the .50 -1.0" of ice and 35 mph winds forecast for here. The cats and I will weather a power outage but I'm worried about my aquarium. I've got a battery-powered bubbler and heat packs with an emergency blanket to cover them just in case, but I'm still worried about my baby fish. (I had a platy population boom around New Year's so I have 12 little ones swimming around.)

So, for everyone who's in a warning area, stay safe and take care!

which will suck, but I guess I'd rather have that than an ice storm. Hope you can keep your power on!

Even a half inch of ice will add a tremendous amount of weight to tree branches. We had a similar ice storm a few years ago. So many power lines were damaged by falling trees and branches that some places were out of power for over a week
