Port Sanilac man injured after car goes down shoreline embankment

Detroit Free Press) A Port Sanilac man was injured after his vehicle traveled down a shoreline embankment, coming to rest along Lake Huron Saturday.
Sanilac County Central Dispatch responded to the crash at about 11 a.m. Saturday along the 2100 block of South Lakeshore Road in Sanilac Township. Officials at the scene found a 30 year-old Port Sanilac man had crashed his 2013 Cadillac ATS down the shoreline embankment.
Officials determined the man was southbound and was attempting to pass a vehicle at the time of the incident. The Port Sanilac man did not see oncoming traffic as he was passing and swerved to avoid a collision, according to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department. He swerved across the centerline where his car then went down the embankment.
The car then came stopped on large rocks along the shore of Lake Huron. ...........(more)
