Hutchinson has since pleaded guilty to driving drunk after leaving a state sheriffs conference on Dec. 8, and crashing the SUV.
Separately, a Medina police report indicates Hutchinson was not involved in a request that Medina police investigate an independent photojournalist who got photos of the sheriffs totaled black Ford Explorer, and whether shed trespassed or planted items in Hutchinsons car.
The State Patrol was asked to assist the Douglas County Sheriffs Office at the crash site.

He obviously has a serious problem with alcohol and needs to address that before resuming his full duties. Hopefully he can.

Something strange happened with him. The consensus is he went "crazy". He fell off his horse drunk at our rodeo parade. Then he got caught working with some kids that were pulling burglaries. He was arrested and evidently beat up by someone involved. He avoided any prison time and won his lawsuit, then no one has seen him since.
I'd like to see him again to find out what the hell happened? There is no way he was that kind of guy all along.
