Anyone has tried to watch the local PBS channel tpt channel 2?

Their programing in the past few days makes no sense and on their website

https://www.tpt.org/about/contact/

it says that they have problems with their technical equipment and are unable to broadcast the regularly scheduled programs. I cannot even copy the banner.

Strange. By the FaceBook post it sounded like a normal ice event that damages the antenna. LiberalArkie Dec 2023 #3

gear. So if an old microwave went down and parts are not available, it might take a bit of time to raise the funds for a new one.. Just a guess.

But in their Facebook page they say "Our station is currently experiencing technical difficulties that are affecting the signal and schedule. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience."

So it sounds like antenna damage maybe.. Has there been a lot of ice in the area? That will wreck havoc oil a TV transmission system.

No, not any weather event. Quite the opposite.

Interestingly, though, their daily PBS NewsHour does come clear and strong. Might be a different routing.

But that would not be the case it some programming is ok.Maybe they lost one of the satellite systems that is different from the NewsHour feed. It happens.

That's TPT Life. It's been playing 2.2, TPT MN, programming. 2.1, the regular channel has been unaffected. I called TPT today.

Apparently, there was a broken part that they hoped to get in yesterday and now they're hoping for it to arrive today. It's apparently a fairly quick fix, once the part arrives. But I see now that 2.3 and 2.2 are now different from each other, but 2.3 still doesn't have its regular programming.

I hope they get it fixed by tomorrow.
