Floyd should know the answer. Sneederbunk Mar 2024 #1
Yes. When you are ready to file it tells you that you have to fix something question everything Mar 2024 #2
Except it's a MN payment that's federally taxable iemanja Mar 2024 #3
Yes, on Schedule 1. You should have received a 1099-Misc from the state question everything Mar 2024 #4

You have the option to skip - don't.

You will be faced with a screenshot of a form - M1M, I think - where the special refund is already entered.

Just delete it.

Then view it before filing.

On edit, they may have fixed it by now, so just check form M1M if there is an entry there.

But make sure that it is not used as a deduction on Form M1M. You will deduct it separately on Minnesota M1.

Yes, convoluted.

I put in the 1099 9n the fed but when I filled out the state forms it allowed me to take it off.
Free Tax was so much easier to use for me. And free to file fed 14.99 for state. No m9re TurboTax for me

My taxes are too complicated. I need to automatically upload an 1099-int, and that has nothing to do with the MN tax rebate.
