Due process is a concept involving legal proceedings; asking someone to resign isn't subject to due process but to the rules of the state legislature and/or the party. I agree that more needs to be known first, but being a DFLer isn't enough to excuse her. Don't we say the law applies equally to everyone?

The DFL chair did not ask him to resign. He was missing plates and the vehicle was not registered.
