(28,482 posts)and, as could be expected, there was a large contingent of DFLers there (all the way from us worker bees to some elected officials and current candidates - the departed would have loved it).
Not surprisingly Franken's woes came up and not one of us thought he should resign. This includes a female member of the state legislature who has signed on to a letter telling him not to give in.
The other things we all agreed on was that none of us our buying the latest accusation (really, we should believe he used words so similar to Trump's?) and that to urge him to resign is to play right into the Republicans' hands.
And, BTW, I called Amy's office when I got home and told them I expect her to stand with Al.
