Republican Housley is running a lot of TV ads

Running against Smith. She is the Republican endorsed candidate, the other is Bob Anderson and I don't know how strong a rival he is. Wondering why she is spending so much on primaries. But what is interesting about her ads - kinda heard some of it this morning - about getting government off one's back, a-la Reagan. And I was thinking about all the farmers and other industries that are losing because of the tariff. If this is not government interference then what is?

"The government doesn't create jobs, YOU do."

Well actually, the government CAN create jobs, and it can do it much more quickly than the private sector can. These people are so far removed from the Great Depression and the lessons learned.
