UnitedHealth CEO David Wichmann fears we're coming for his riches

UnitedHealth Group CEO David Wichmann has reason to fear. He earned $17.4 million dollars last year. He also holds $202 million in the Minnetonka company's stock. If America gets its wish, all that money may soon be at risk.

The latest polling shows that 56 percent of Americans now favor “Medicare for All,” with sound reason. Other countries with similar plans -- like Canada and most of Europe – see their health costs plummet, while things like life expectancy rise.

The idea is rather simple: Instead of paying for insurance through work or on your own, that payment is shifted to taxes. In return, a government program similar to Medicare covers everyone.

But this also means cutting out the middleman. That would be David Wichmann. As shepherd of the nation's largest health insurer, he extracted $17 billion in profits last year as the system's paperwork guy.

how much fu**ing money do you need you parasite? You **already** have 200 million - do we need to have more people die so you can have a second or third yacht?

Every dollar people like David Wichmann extract - is a dollar cheaper that healthcare could be.

If we're talking sneakers, cars, etc - no problem. But not with something like healthcare.

we're coming for your money. How much money do you need to live a dignified life and be happy. Let me guess. It's never enough, right? Like the rest of the .01%ers, your craving and greed is insatiable. Hey Dude, here's a clue -- greed is poison.

Of course, rather than waiting for us to get some of your money by raising your taxes, you could give some of it away to relieve the suffering of others. There's more than ample opportunity to earn moral merit and virtue by funding education, health research, environmental problems. Rumor has it that there are a lot of lead pipes in Flint MI, and young people eager to go to college and pay off college debt. There's probably some women's shelters in your state. And I'm certain that there are plenty of drug addicts, who are ready and eager to enter a sobriety program, if only there were some.

You might even discover that it is generosity, not greed, that creates joy and great satisfaction in life. But don't take my word for it. Ask Jimmy Carter. He seems really, really happy and fulfilled.
