All those empty billboards on I-70 have potential
Remember when there was an attempt to reduce billboards on I-70 so the opposition put up a zillion to be sure they'd be grandfathered if the bill passed, which it didn't? So now there are all those empty billboards.
Yesterday we drove the STL/KCMO route. My husband was asleep on the passenger side and my mind started imagining all these empty billboards with educational ads to wake up the farmers and manufacturing employees who are going to be financially hurt by DT. I imagined them with pictures of Trump with his hands in farming and manufacturing families' pockets and the caption, "He is taking your money." Or, "Are you broke? It's his fault." Or a picture of him modified to make him look wolfish with a sheepskin draped over his pathetic head and a caption of, "He is not your friend." (With all respect to wolves, whom I adore.)
I wish someone with skill and resources would draft an effective billboard campaign. Pretty sure those billboards are inexpensive at this point--there are some desperate looking "for sale or lease" signs placed on some of them.
