Mo. House and Senate have passed a gag rule forbidding pharmacists from proactively questioning ...

Recall the GOP has a pattern of this particular kind of bullshit, like passing laws telling doctors they can't ask about guns in the home.

The party of limited government, the party of free speech.

Unless you go out and buy the livestock version from a farm supply store.

The law basically says that the pharmacist can't call up the doctor and say "are you crazy??"

As far as I am aware, it isn’t illegal to lie to the doctor and say “no, I don’t own any”, in order to keep one’s gun ownership from prying eyes.
