(94,764 posts)Daines blew his foot off in his closing statement when he said he supports everything that's bad for Montana like DAPL, what's her name for SCOTUS, and thinning the forests and keeping coal.
Bullock was pretty relaxed, Daines sounded like DJTJ trying to sell me a hamberder he found on the seat of the cross town bus.

(24,236 posts)I missed it! Thats what I get for feeding this household and making lunch for tomorrow. You all have To tell me how it went. I cant imagine that Daines could hold his own against Bullock.

(94,764 posts)He kept his calm and had reasonable responses to all questions and attacks. He kept hitting the points regarding the pandemic, climate, economy education, etc..
I think you can hear or see a recording at those links. It was 60 mins.

(24,236 posts)Ill listen this morning. Im starting to hope that Bullock can do this. Daines is spending plenty on attack ads on local radio out here...probably because this area is predictably blue. I hope Bullock is doing the same in the red parts of MT.

(94,764 posts)Public radio and watch selective teevee stuff online so I miss all the ads except the ones I choose to watch here and whatever shows up on the live stream teevee programs.
Daines sounded like DJTJ or gymjordan trying to sell a pile of shit as a chocolate Sundae, bounced around with fast talk making stupid attacks with no context and then jumping to some talking point with snark as a garnish. He was pathetic in his obvious allegiance to the regime.

(24,236 posts)Daines sounds exactly like I thought he would. Lots of Schumer references apparently. Im going to listen to the whole thing when I get to work.
I try not to listen to terrestrial radio ever...usually listen to Pandora at my desk at work with my door closed but a couple guys that work in my building like a country music channel and they blare it most of the day, I HATE it with a passion. Their radio is two feet above my head on a shelf...When they go to lunch, I grab a piece of a 2x4 that I keep stashed and wack the off button so that I can open my office door and not hear that trash. Same as when they leave at night...the radio gets a wack.
