Nebraska corrections staff could get raises of up to 11.8% under Ricketts plan

LINCOLN — Gov. Pete Ricketts’ administration is proposing to pay some corrections workers up to 11.8 percent more next year in an effort to curb employee turnover.

The administration delivered the proposal Friday to the Nebraska Association of Public Employees, the largest state employees union.

If approved, the increases would start July 1 next year.
