NH's right to abortion stands - for now

Thankfully, Gov. Sununu (R) is preserving the right to an abortion in New Hampshire, but it is not written in law.

Gov. Chris Sununu, who signed into law a ban on abortions after 24 weeks and then later signed an amendment that added new exceptions, said in a written statement that abortions remain legal in New Hampshire.

"Regardless of this Supreme Court decision, access to these services will continue to remain safe, accessible, and legal in New Hampshire," Sununu said.
