MANCHESTER, N.H. A Concord, New Hampshire man is facing charges after police said he stole an Amazon truck and led them on a chase through a few New Hampshire towns just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
New Hampshire State Police said Richard Royea, 40, stole an Amazon truck making deliveries on South Fruit Street in Concord. Police said they believe he is homeless and usually resides in Concord.
State police said they were able to track down the truck and tried to stop Royea on Interstate 93 in Hooksett, but he refused. Wendy Green was stopped at the intersection of Salmon and Maple streets in Manchester when her dashboard camera caught part of the chase.
"The next thing you know there are more cops behind us more state troopers, Manchester police officers, I mean, there was a line. A big long line," Green said. "And it went down to the end of Maple and took a left and went out, around, and then we lost track of it."
