State employees union files labor complaint on behalf of adjunct faculty

CONCORD — The union representing state employees has filed an unfair labor practice complaint against the Community College System of New Hampshire on behalf of adjunct faculty.

The State Employees Association alleges that CCSNH has refused to “discuss or entertain certain mandatory subjects of bargaining, including hours of work and aspects of compensation.”

Arthur Slotnick, who teaches anatomy and physiology at Manchester Community College, is chairman of the bargaining team for the adjunct faculty.
