Star-Ledger article pissed me off. N.J. Real Estate for sale, $14 -49 Million.

It was about 1/2 page with photos of multi-million dollar estates for sale. One had a "motor court." I guess that was for the poor bastards that couldn't afford an elevator for their cars.

Anyway, our dip-shit governor continues to reduce and/or push for reductions in health care and housing expenses for the lower income residents of our state. Meanwhile, he pushes for lowering the taxes on our wealthiest citizens. (--saying you lowered taxes looks good when you are running for president, don't you know?)

If you can afford a $14m dwelling, you can afford to may higher taxes.

I haven't seen the article, but I suspect it was written by someone working for the real estate section, not the news reporters.

Newspapers have to sell ads in order to survive, and articles like this help sell advertising. I was a reporter for The Star-Ledger in the 1980s, and compared to what it was like back then, it's become a very good newspaper.
