Andy Kim has a mammoth $2 million warchest after strong Q2 fundraising

It was another monster fundraising quarter for Rep. Andy Kim (D-Moorestown), who raised over $800,000 in April, May and June and now has over $2 million banked for his 2022 re-election bid.

Kim has now brought in a massive $1.76 million haul in the first six months of his second term and offers a daunting warchest that could scare away potential Republican opponents next year.

“We’ve been working hard and hustling and getting a really strong response,” said Kim. “I’m blown away by the energy that’s still out there.”

In the 2nd quarter of his first term, Kim raised $532,060, putting his Q2 second term numbers at a 50% increase.

Kim also didn’t hit the $2 million cash-on-hand number until the end of 2019, putting his campaign account six months ahead of where he was two years ago.
