Methinks he would not have complained at all if she'd voted for him and he'd won.

I've been on my county Electoral Board (rural VA county) for 12 years. There is NO WAY anyone could get a ballot unless he requested an absentee ballot for himself and sent it to her.

If anyone in our county did that, we would have his ass in front of our Commonwealth's Attorney in a heartbeat and she would bury him.

She then voted for a Democrat opponent to her father.

This is corrupt all around. Also, why isn’t her ballot secret? Even if she voted illegally, wouldn’t her vote be secret?

But wait, there’s more corruption! A Democratic council member sent a ballot to her daughter in Knoxville, TN.

The article doesn’t state if Duarte's adult daughter is a student.

However, she could very likely be a college student.

This article from a local paper is much more informative. The Republican, Baio, is a real piece of work.

…snip…

Duarte, meanwhile, was outraged that she and her daughter, a recent college graduate whose name she preferred not to disclose, would be singled out by the Republicans, calling it "deeply disappointing."

According to Duarte, Baio "is now creating divisiveness in Mendham Township and attacking the voting rights of the young people.

"We've never had a recount in a Mendham Township election, let alone this type of divisiveness," Duarte said. "Local and county Republican operatives are trying to pit neighbor against neighbor.

"As a first-generation American, whose parents came to this country seeking political freedom, I would never try to suppress participation in elections and the democratic process. Baio owes the Township of Mendham, in particular our young people, an apology. He should immediately concede his loss to Lauren Spirig and allow the community to heal and to come together in this holiday season."

she had to vote in the precinct she was already registered in, if she wanted to vote at all. That ballot is used when a person is not at "home", aside from being for those unable to physically go to the polls to vote for other reasons.

She shouldn't have told him who she voted for....imho
