some odd politics. In many towns or districts Republicans & Democrats are interchangeable. In fact, on the local level, it's a crap shoot. I have met Dem pols who spread birther BS and an occasional Puke pol straight out of the Eisenhower playbook. And much of it revolves around graft, slimy favors and payback.

All politics is dirty but college courses use N.J. as a text book example.

State Senate is numerically a DEM majority but through connivance and back room deals a handful of DEM turncoats combine w. GOP to keep committee chairs , etc in republican hands.
