Iris Delgado named N.J. state director of Harris/Walz campaign
Iris Delgado, a top Democratic strategist from Middlesex County, has been named state director of the Kamala Harris/Tim Walz campaign in New Jersey.
She will head up an effort that includes using New Jersey as a hub to connect local volunteers with battleground states, especially Pennsylvania, that will determine the outcome of the presidential election. Delgados efforts will include organizing New Jersey voters to work on phone banks, and canvassing in key states.
This election, we all need to do our part whether its canvassing, phone banking or talking to friends and family to fight for Vice President Harris New Way Forward that will lower costs for families, protect our freedoms and ensure everyone has an opportunity to get ahead, said Harris-Walz Campaign Manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez.
Delgado has been the executive director of the Middlesex County Democratic Organization since 2018 and also heads the New Jersey Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee. She is a graduate of Cornell University.
