Staggering 1.45M N.J. voters have already cast ballots for Tuesday's election

More than one in five registered voters in New Jersey have already cast ballots, as more than 1 million residents have taken advantage of early voting options.
More than 744,000 voters have cast early, in-person votes as of Oct. 31, data from the state Division of Elections shows.
This is New Jersey’s first presidential election with in-person early voting, where voters can cast their ballots on traditional machines.
An additional 714,436 mail-in ballots have been returned as of Nov. 1, according to state data. Of the mail-in ballots requested, 64% have been returned, state data shows.
