TRENTON -- Some of the gunfire that riddled three Trenton neighborhoods Sunday is suspected to be the latest in a well-known neighborhood feud between criminal elements in the East and West wards of the city.
The shootings - in which 66 shots were fired - wounded one man, damaged numerous houses and vehicles, Police Director Ernest Parrey Jr. said.
And, Parrey said, two of the shootings may be connected to another burst of gun violence in September that claimed two lives.
Police have a number of theories about what sparked the shooting and are investigating those possibilities, he said. "We're going to be taking some measures to minimize this activity and apprehend the actors," he said.
