Multiple casualties' in Glenville explosion, town supervisor says

GLENVILLE — An explosion Monday caused "multiple casualties" at an asphalt site on Freemans Bridge Road, Town Supervisor Chris Koetzle said.

At least two people were burned but it was unclear if any of the injuries were life threatening, officials said.

One person was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital and a second person was about to be flown from the scene in a medical helicopter, police said.

It was unclear if anyone was killed.
