Cable started going in and out. And then I heard a horrible noise...

which I eventually figured out was my phone sounding an alarm. (Now I know that feature works)

The alarm was for flash flooding later this evening.

Ho-lee shit! Watching the weather on the local nooze. Lotsa red coloring.

I looked out my window because it was a tornado warning. Sure enough i could see a tornado 10 miles away. I took a photo and hoped people were okay. Turns out they didn't get an alarm where the tornado was. I feel like a heel for assuming they were getting the same warning and not calling 911 myself. Turns out someone saw the beginnings of a funnel cloud near us and we got a warning. It didn't turn into a tornado. I did not know tornado warnings were so specific to cell towers themselves. I thought whole regions got warnings. I don't think anybody was seriously hurt. But if you see something say something.
