(10,795 posts)1. I went through NY on a trip to Burlington VT three years ago
Never been there before. It was November, so I missed the colors, but I was still amazed at how beautiful it was.
On the way out I stopped at Niagara Falls, stayed in Rochester, and took the two-lane along the northern border. While in Burlington, I took a day trip around the lakes and stopped at some great places in NY. Going home, I didn't stop much, but took I-88 and thought t was spectacular.
I'd love to move to NY, or pretty much anywhere in New England.

But this is apparently the place, in the fall we get busloads here just to look at the trees!
