I've seen a number of threads about him here over the months, and responded to many.
He was elected in my district, but I refuse to call him my representative.
Just saw this article, which isn't really news, because we already know about him. Still, thought it was worth sharing his latest embarrassing moment, for me if not for him!
Washington (CNN)Rep. Madison Cawthorn, a freshman Republican from North Carolina, has called himself a "big history buff" and a "lover of history."

And whatever may be our wishes, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.' "

Anyone commiserate or sympathize?
More folks are moving to this area in droves, but not sure how the numbers will change. It's 60/40 red here and can shift to 55/45, but I'm hoping but not hopeful we can get him out in the next election.

(25,483 posts)I personally choose not to signal boost this lame brain. Even if we don't approve of his antics we give him street cred every time we post about him.
But to each his/her own.
Not my style but ymmv.

(2,000 posts)I agree with you about not giving him street creds, and find that people post about him in the general forum which leads to many folks making comments. I wanted to get input from other North Carolinians, as he's our problem.
I did look to see if the CNN article had been posted before I did so. Thanks for sharing the link to the search function. I've bookmarked it and will use it
