Triangle people!

Are we about to get a decent winter storm, or just a bunch of ice and dirty slush?

I think it could go either way but wonder what y'all are thinking.

I miss a decent snowstorm - think the last time it happened here was 2018. (I'm in Durham near Southpoint)

I'm on the coast and under an ice storm warning, so the odds are good it will be worse where you are littlemissmartypants Jan 2022 #3

Last several days my weather app has shown snow here Friday but not in Hillsboro as this storm moisture is approaching from the south, cold from the north … awaiting noon news update guess

Looks like the brunt of the storm will be south and east, with freezing rain at the coast

Friday forecast for me...

Ice in the morning followed by icy mix in the afternoon; otherwise, breezy; there can be power outages and dangerous travel.

Sounds like a good day to sleep in. I'm thinking about a roast in the crock pot tonight.

Good luck and stay safe.
