President Joe Biden bringing his campaign to Las Vegas next week

He will give a speech Tuesday during the 115th NAACP National Convention, where the civil rights organization will focus on policies that affect Black Americans. Biden’s speech will pledge his administration’s commitment to racial justice issues, according to the White House.

The next day, July 17, Biden will speak at the UnidosUS Annual Conference, which the event’s website describes as “one of the largest gatherings of Latinos and allies committed to increasing opportunity and driving social justice for the Latino community.”

The president’s speech will celebrate his accomplishments that have benefited the community, including lowering the Latino uninsured rate and boosting Latino businesses, the White House said.

Biden’s visit comes less than a week after Vice President Kamala Harris made her sixth trip to Nevada this year.
