Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz to visit Wilmington. Here's what we know.

As the political season ramps up, another candidate is set to arrive in Wilmington.

Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz is scheduled to host a rally in the Port City on Thursday, campaigning for him and running mate Kamala Harris.

It'll come eight days after Wilmington saw Republican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance hold a rally at the Aero Center.

According to a news release from the Harris-Walz campaign, the Minnesota governor is expected to arrive at the Wilmington International Airport at 5:30 p.m. and will deliver remarks at 6. It's unknown as of Monday night if Walz will speak at the airport or another location.
