About this event
We're calling North Carolina likely Democratic voters who had to cast a provisional ballot or whose absentee ballots were rejected by their County Boards of Election, to give them the information they need to get their votes counted!

The folks we're calling have already cast their ballot and are committed to making their voices heard in this election, so these calls are less about persuasion than information and guidance. Nevertheless, the calls can be sensitive, as voters may be hearing for the first time that there was a problem with their absentee ballot. But as long as you remain reassuring and informative, voters are nearly always appreciative that somebody reached out to help them.

No experience necessary, though you will need to use your computer, an online script/calling platform, and your phone to make these calls, so comfort with computers is important. We will train you for the first 30 minutes, stay on to support you along the way, and debrief for 10 minutes at the end.

You'll need a computer with internet and a phone; tablets/iPads aren’t recommended for compatibility issues.
