Please join us to register voters in downtown Durham! Meet at the Durham Public Library and we will spread out to several busy locations to register and educate citizens on changes to the voting law.

The first thought when reading this OP was somewhere between discust and outrage.
No not with the OP, with the need for this.

Granted I am in a purple state and have been here long enough that I can't remember if I registered when I got the new car tags or if it had something to do with a utility bill.
We're big on utility bills here. Show 'em a utility bill and you can drop off recyclables and pickup mulch on the same trip.

Training is required for voter reregistration?
Have GOP controlled states become that repressive?
I guess the next step will be sticking you're thumb on an ink pad so they can be sure you don't try to vote a second time.
