North Carolina
Related: About this forumI am getting Bill Cook ads claiming Stan White is running a "New Jersey" style dirty campaign.
I don't have any idea what that means. Is White from NJ originally? Or is this is vague reference to "connections" of the nefarious sort? Maybe he's trying to say White is like Tony Soprano? No idea. It must be code for something.
I didn't think New Jersey political campaigns were worse than those elsewhere. I guess it's supposed to bother the ignorant hayseeds that live in this district. New Jersey is practically a foreign country. It's certainly in the North, which can't be good.
It's just weird. Clearly I'm never going to vote for Cook; he's an ass. I've had enough of those mailers that I could wallpaper my apartment with them. Instead I leave them on the floor so the cat can vomit on them.

(246 posts)For the crackers that make up the GOP in these parts, it works like this;
Folks from New Jersey are Yankees
A Yankee is a Tourist
A Damn Yankee moves here
A Goddamn Yankee wants to take over the government.
Nothing pisses them off like a Goddamn Yankee!

Must be one of those closet Yankees, then.
Wait, maybe he vacationed in New Jersey one time. That must be it.
