Airlines begin canceling flights at RDU as Hurricane Florence nears the Carolinas

Airlines have begun to cancel flights at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in advance of Hurricane Florence.

Southwest Airlines has canceled all its flights in and out of RDU on Thursday and Friday and doesn’t plan to resume operations until at least Saturday, according to the airport’s website. The airline doesn’t plan to have employees at the airport either day and says travelers will need to rebook their flights online or by phone.
