Related: About this forumSo have any you gotten mailers for GOP Senate candidates?
I have gotten about a dozen of the large, color mailers for Senator Pate in Goldsboro. Clearly the Senate Majority PAC thinks Pate needs some help but these mailers make me more into voting for his opponent. Today, for instance, I got one saying Pate was endorsed by the NRA while his opponent favored gun control. I might not be the literal last person on earth to send that to, to get me to vote against judge Brantley but I must be close.

We recycle the crap mailers.

(10,340 posts)I thought it was pretty weak actually. Pate said he was NRA endorsed and then said Brantley was probably for gun control, based on his failure to return the questionnaire sent to him by the NRA.
My first thought was why was this idiot sending a registered Democrat an announcement that he was endorsed by the NRA?

(52,632 posts)and one on the guy from military disability who was a dead beat dad. They wasted a crap ton of money on this presuming that they mailed this to everyone who is registered. Actually they worse than wasted money in my case as they made me more likely to vote for Brantley who I actually knew nothing about before their mailers arrived.
