Voting Concerns (Husband found on FB):

From Rabbi Fred Guttman: "Please review your ballot carefully. I voted this morning in Guilford County, and found that five of my votes have been randomly changed. All were changed from a Democratic candidate to a Republican one. I called the supervisor over to look at the machine and she noticed the last three times that it was changed. She shut down the machine and said that there was a problem of calibration. Quite frankly however, I am more than suspicious.
To everyone, regardless of political affiliation, please review your ballot carefully. I've been voting for 48 years and have never seen something like this. It is very serious!"

***Guilford County voters, as you select your candidates on the electronic screen, please follow your vote choices on the paper reel to the lower left hand side of the machine. If the paper does not reflect your choices, STOP. Find a poll official and ask them to void the ballot, shut down the machine and move you to another machine. Lastly, call GCDP at 336-292-2997 and report the problem.

I submitted a paper ballot as well. This is a Republican area, so they'll use the most Baitball Blogger Oct 2018 #4

Calibration? My iPhone doesn't need to be calibrated... I tap the screen and it does what I want. No calibration necessary.

Electronic voting scares me.

reliable method to count votes. If anything gets fishy, it will usually occur by the person that takes your ballot and puts it in the machine. I think I lost my vote this way during the Gore vs. Bush election. (They drop it in a chute and say they'll count it manually later) And I think I almost lost it again another year when a good ole gal took it and pretended it wouldn't go through the machine, when the reality was that it was too tightly in the envelope.

This year they instructed me to take the ballot out of the sleeve and it put it in the machine, myself. But I didn't like that the guy was standing over me and could see me ballot visually. It's really just those two top categories that really matter. If you vote Dem for the two top ones, you'll probably vote Dem for all.

... The most under-reported story about vote suppression is this particular kind of election fraud... State budgets put the accurate machines where they want to count votes, and put the inaccurate methods (punch cards, etc.) where they don't want to count all the votes cast.

If Soros was such a force, he would have upgraded the election methods for the blue counties. Maybe we'll finally do it when Andrew Gillum gets in office.
