Total Suspected Reported Statewide: 66

19/100 counties, up 2

This is a change of 16 case from the last update, of cases statewide. That number was 50. Case number discrepancies are starting to emerge as some of those suspected positive, but proven otherwise are dropped from the count. I am using the higher numbers until the counts are otherwise adjusted.

Reported range today is from 40 to 66 cases.

NCDHHS has graph count and map, showing the affected counties here:

Good luck everyone.

I learned today that a fellow driver with the company I work for has had a positive Covid-19 test. That driver works on a dedicated contract to a company in Concord (flatbed hauling, not sure what and for who but I think it's lumber for Lowe's).

We're coming on to peak glass season. I typically haul sheet glass, often from the plant in Laurinburg, to manufacturers of windows and other stuff needing sheet glass. We have a terminal in Laurinburg next door to the glass plant. I don't know if that driver has come to the Laurinburg terminal recently, so I don't know if there is spread that way. We're encouraged to practice social distancing as much as possible.
